Ovviamente oggi un Friday I’m in love dedicato alla Pasqua.

Obviously today a Friday I’m in love dedicated to Easter.

Ogni anno io e Emma, raccogliamo un ramo in giardino abbastanza grande da poter appenderci le uova che decoriamo. Per il ramo siamo arrivate tardi perche i giardinieri hanno già ripulito bene e abbiamo optato per un espositore in legno mentre per le uova quest’anno abbiamo deciso di decorarle in vari modi.

Every year Emma and I collect a branch in the garden big enough to be able to hang the eggs we decorate. For the branch we arrive late because gardeners have already cleaned up well and we opted for a wooden display while the eggs this year we decided to decorate them in different ways.

Emma è una vera creativa e anche in tenera età a lei è sempre piaciuto “pasticciare” con tutto. A scuola, le sue sante maestre le hanno insegnato a fare le catenella all’uncinetto. Certo avrei potuto insegnarglielo anch’io ma vuoi mettere l’importanza di una cosa imparata a scuola rispetto a una cosa che la mamma fa praticamente tutti i giorni? Insomma ora è in fissa con le catenelle, ne produce chilometri da giorni con qualunque filato le capiti a tiro, così abbiamo pensato di rivestire delle uova di polistirolo con le sue catenelle colorate. Basta un po’ di colla vinilica e un pennello oppure la colla a caldo avendo cura di maneggiarla solo un adulto. Questo è il risultato è a parte i colori decisi è una bella idea per realizzare delle uova diverse.

Emma is a real creative girl and even at an early age she always liked to “mess” with everything. At school, her teachers have taught her to do the crocheted chain. Of course I could teach myself but want to put the importance of something learned in school than one thing that mom does almost every day? Con Linda invece abbiamo colorato tradizionalmente gusci di uova vere e anche qualcuna di polistirolo. Abbellite con qualche nastrino e pizzo, fanno anche loro una bella figura.
